Churches and faith-based organizations play a critical role in emergency response to a disaster. As well, to be a resource, churches themselves must have a plan. The Joshua Tree Group works with your church staff to plan for a crisis, train staff, and volunteer development. We also partner the local church with community emergency response organizations. Building a solid response plan and preparing trained volunteers will better prepare your church for the next major incident to hit your community.
Some of the areas we provide services are:
- Preparation: JTG will work with your staff and volunteers to develop a comprehensive disaster plan to meet your community's needs. We will also assist you in implementing your plan and preparing staff should a community disaster occur. We provide resources and funding opportunities to assist your group in the plan.
- Response: When called upon, response must be quick for local churches, we will continue to work with you during these imperative times to assist your staff, provide resource possibilities, as well as, on site personnel.
- Mitigation: The initial stabilization is critical to any incident. JTG works with staff and volunteers to provide those short term resources to maintain until help arrives. We will work with your church to establish the short term needs following an incident.
- Recovery: Recovery goes beyond the physical. There is a spiritual and emotional component as well. As part of your team, JTG continues to support your staff to rebuild and reunite your community.
This among many services are how we work with your church and organization to prepare you to be the light of your community in times of darkness. For more information contact us at: info@joshuatreegroup.com. |
